Corrugated Box Bundling Quality Comes Down to Tension
At box manufacturing plants, how well corrugated box bundles hold together for shipping depends on how consistently the PP band is tensioned. Too little tension and bundles come loose in transit; too much and the box edges get crushed, damaging their appearance.
JS SYSTEM's AMB 1500 S/T inline automatic PP banding machine manages this tension through servo motor control rather than operator feel. Designed and manufactured in-house in Korea, its drive system is built for a single purpose: bundling corrugated boxes.
What 9-Axis Full-Servo Drive Does
The AMB 1500 uses a full-servo design in which all 9 axes are driven by servo motors. Because the controller directly commands the position and timing of each axis, band feeding, wrapping, and tensioning are repeated under identical conditions every cycle. According to the official specifications on our website, it is the first machine in Korea to feature full-servo automatic control with auto-setting technology and an overload prevention control system.

Servo Tension Control for Consistent Strapping on Every Bundle
With servo-controlled tension, the force pulling the band is far less affected by mechanical wear or fluctuations in supply pressure. As a result, the first and last bundles are strapped equally well even during continuous operation at 28 cycles per minute. Because it is a direct servo drive, there are no air leaks or cylinder wear issues found in pneumatic systems, so tension quality stays consistent over time.

Auto-Setting: Size Changeovers with a Touch Panel Selection
Box plants ship boxes in many different sizes, often within a single day. With manual equipment, operators must readjust position and tension every time the size changes. With the AMB 1500, simply select the size on the touch panel and all 9 axes are automatically set to the corresponding conditions. This saves 10–30 minutes compared to manual adjustment and reduces variation caused by differences in operator skill.
Precision Comes from Repeatability
Auto-setting isn't about getting it right once—it's about reproducing the same conditions every time, even when sizes change.

S and T Models to Fit Your Line Layout
The S model uses side feeding and connects inline to your existing production line, while the T model uses top feeding as a standalone unit. Both models feature the same 9-axis full-servo auto-setting and servo tension control, and thanks to servo drive, they use 30–40% less power than pneumatic systems. Our own engineers handle after-sales service directly, upholding our principle: "The people who build it take responsibility to the end." Full specifications are available on our website, jssys.work.
