Full-Servo Banding Machine: Durability and Parts Availability Backed by Domestic Manufacturing

Designed and manufactured in-house in Korea, the AMB 1500 S/T inline automatic PP banding machine uses servo direct drive, which eliminates air leaks and cylinder wear. Here is why it suffers so few minor breakdowns and can run reliably for long periods.

When the Strapping Line Stops at a Box Plant, Shipping Stops Too

In a corrugated box plant, strapping finished box bundles with PP bands is the final step before shipment. No matter how smoothly the upstream processes run, repeated minor breakdowns at the banding station cause bundles to pile up and throw shipping schedules off track. That is why, for equipment managers, the first requirement for a banding machine is not speed but reliability: it must not stop.

JS SYSTEM designed the AMB 1500 S/T inline automatic PP banding machine around this requirement. It rests on two things: a robust drive system and direct domestic manufacturing.

How Servo Direct Drive Reduces Minor Breakdowns

Pneumatic equipment moves cylinders with compressed air, so over time it tends to develop air leaks at hoses and fittings, along with cylinder wear. The AMB 1500 drives each motion directly with nine full-servo axes, so these failure sources simply do not exist in its design. With wear parts and consumables kept to a minimum, minor breakdowns are rare and the machine can run reliably for long periods.

Precise Control on Top of a Robust Structure

Durability takes more than sturdy components. The AMB 1500 was the first machine in Korea to apply full-servo automatic control with auto-setting technology and a load-protection control system. Servo tension control tightens PP bands evenly, so the mechanism is never put under excessive force. This is why its motion stays consistent even when it repeats 28 strapping cycles per minute.

What In-House Domestic Design and Manufacturing Mean for Parts Supply

The AMB 1500 S/T is the only automatic inline banding machine made in Korea, designed and manufactured directly by JS SYSTEM. The people who built the machine and its parts know it best, so when a problem arises, the manufacturer's own engineers respond directly. With no distributors in between, parts orders and technical inquiries go straight to the manufacturer.

The Maker Takes Responsibility to the End

Because one company handles design, manufacturing, and after-sales service, the party responsible for your equipment never changes, however long you use it.

What to Check When Choosing Long-Term Equipment

Once installed, strapping equipment runs alongside your line for many years. Choose the model that fits your plant, either the S model that connects inline to an existing line or the T model for standalone placement, and we recommend checking the following points as well.

Does the drive system eliminate air leaks and cylinder wear?

Is the design built to minimize wear and consumable parts?

Does the designer and manufacturer provide after-sales service directly?

Does it support automatic setup via touch panel when specifications change?
