Outgoing Bundling on a Small-Box Line, Seen Through an Installation Case
The smaller the corrugated boxes a plant produces, the more the bundle-strapping process just before shipping governs the speed of the entire line. This installation case covers a configuration in which an AMB 1500 S inline automatic PP strapping machine was connected at the end of a production line that rapidly turns out small boxes, automatically bundling the finished corrugated box stacks.
Before adoption, workers manually strapped the finished box stacks, making it difficult to keep up with the line speed. As the strapping process became a bottleneck, it repeatedly dragged down the production speed of the upstream stages as well, and resolving this was the starting point of the installation.
Inline Connection to the Existing Line via Side Feeding
The AMB 1500 S model connects inline right alongside the existing production line using a side-feeding method. Without needing to build a separate transfer path, the structure straps box stacks directly as they flow down the line.
As a result, installation was possible even on a narrow small-box line without any space burden, and as production and strapping merged into a single flow, shipping units come out bundled without any worker intervention.

Securing Line Speed with High-Speed Bundling at 28 Cycles per Minute
Bundling per Minute
Full-servo 9-axis high-speed drive
The key to adoption was speed. The inline automatic PP strapping machine, driven by a full-servo 9-axis system, achieves a bundling speed of up to 28 cycles per minute, so the strapping process is no longer a bottleneck even on a line where small boxes pour out rapidly.
Because servo tension control keeps the tension of every strap uniform, the bundles do not loosen and the PP band does not slip out even at high speed, maintaining consistent strapping quality.
Instant Response to Spec Changes with Touch-Panel Auto-Setting
On a small-box line, box sizes and bundle specifications change frequently. The AMB 1500 S applies Korea's first full-servo automatic-control auto-setting technology, so when a specification changes, selecting that spec on the touch panel automatically sets all 9 axes.
Compared with the previous method of adjusting each setting manually, it saves 10 to 30 minutes per spec changeover, delivering an especially noticeable benefit on small-box lines with frequent high-mix, low-volume production.
Why It Excels at High-Mix Small Boxes
Even on small-box lines where specifications change frequently, touch-panel auto-setting switches over instantly, cutting 10 to 30 minutes of setup time per spec change.

Trouble-Free Servo Drive and Direct After-Sales Service
Servo direct drive has none of the air leaks or cylinder wear common in pneumatic systems, so it rarely breaks down. Once installed, the line can run non-stop for long periods, preventing situations where a halted strapping process brings the entire production to a standstill.
Even after installation, the manufacturer's engineers respond directly with direct after-sales service, providing maintenance in which the people who built the machine take responsibility to the end.
